Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, 38 Avenue John F. Kennedy, L-1855 Luxembourg (AWS). The pages are stored in the EU (Ireland) and delivered through AWS’s content delivery network CloudFront, which answers each request from a location near you; for visitors outside the EU, that location can be outside the EU. When you open a page, AWS processes the technical data your browser sends (IP address, date and time, page requested, referring page, browser and operating system) to deliver the page and keep the service secure. We keep these server logs to secure the website, find errors and see which search engines and AI services read it. Log entries with the IP address are deleted after 90 days; a copy without the IP address, which keeps only your network operator and country, is deleted after two years. AWS processes this data on our behalf under a data processing agreement that includes the EU standard contractual clauses. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure and working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Website analytics

We use PostHog to understand how visitors use this website: which pages are viewed, where visitors come from, how far they scroll, what they click, and recordings of page interactions in which all form inputs are masked. PostHog runs without cookies and stores nothing on your device. Your IP address is used to determine your country, not to identify you. Provider: PostHog Inc., USA; the data is stored on PostHog’s servers in the EU (Frankfurt). We have a data processing agreement with PostHog that includes the EU standard contractual clauses. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving this website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Session recordings are deleted automatically after one month; other analytics data is kept only as long as we need it for these purposes. You can object at any time by writing to hello@billr.io.

The fonts on this website are served from our own hosting. Your browser does not connect to any font provider.

Contact and demo booking

If you email us, we use your details to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). The demo booking links lead to Calendly (Calendly LLC, USA), and links to LinkedIn lead to LinkedIn; their own privacy policies apply there.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR).
